Description of Butterfly Effect

An activity overflowing with creativity and ingenuity

Butterfly Effect Team Building

With 30 objects, a great dose of ingenuity, and plenty of creativity, you'll need to build a Rube Goldberg machine and catch the elusive mouse!

Butterfly Effect is a fabulous activity, a true challenge in which different teams will compete to be not only the most creative — a fundamental skill in any sector — but also the most efficient, since the goal is to design a contraption that performs a very simple task through a complex design.

Participants in this original team building activity will need to use 30 everyday objects that, skilfully arranged, lead to catching the stuffed mouse, which will be the final link in the chain.

And, naturally, a plate of delicious cheese will be the starting link — from there, using all the elements, any combination is possible.

Kaizen takes care of every detail involved in the planning, creation and running of the event, to make it unforgettable and engaging for your team.

We're confident this activity guarantees not only fun, but brings together everything needed to achieve the purpose of a good team building activity: improving skills such as communication, creativity and teamwork, while greatly boosting your team's sense of belonging to the company.

“Spectacular. We thought it was an insurmountable challenge, and when we achieved it the joy was overwhelming.”

Frequently asked questions

Why choose Butterfly Effect as a team building activity?

Because Butterfly Effect is an activity with fun unleashed in a chain reaction, and creativity is what will drive your team to success. A unique experience to test participants' ingenuity and their capability as a team.

What is the butterfly effect based on?

We've all heard the phrase claiming that the flap of a butterfly's wings can cause an earthquake on the other side of the world. The butterfly effect is based on a concept from Chaos Theory, whereby if a system undergoes some kind of disturbance, it will affect another system in the medium or long term. To put it simply: the domino effect.

In this team building activity, participants will use this butterfly effect to build a Rube Goldberg machine which, despite performing a very simple task, is a sophisticated device requiring participants to use their ingenuity.

What are the benefits of Butterfly Effect team building?

Communication and creativity among team members are the fundamental elements for achieving the goals, and in this activity teamwork will be central.

Having fun while strengthening bonds in pursuit of a common goal, reinforcing a sense of belonging in an activity where logic and problem-solving depend on the coordination of participants' ideas.
