Description of Nest Box Building

A nature conservation and environmental awareness activity where you'll learn how to build, install and monitor nest boxes.

Building Nest Boxes and Bird Feeders

Enjoy a nature conservation activity with your work team, where, besides spending a fun, relaxing day, you'll learn the fundamental steps for building structures such as nest boxes and bird feeders, always using techniques that reduce machinery use and relying on sustainable, local resources.

Spanish flora and fauna have a wide variety of rich ecosystems, but due to circumstances such as wildfires, land exploitation and other logistical decisions, these ecosystems are vulnerable and sometimes damaged, directly affecting birds, which struggle to nest.

This activity is designed so that, working in teams, participants learn how to build and where to place nest boxes and feeders, in order to provide local bird species with a safer space to breed and feed.

It's a different, relaxing and fun activity, as well as an educational one, letting you enjoy a very different and relaxed time with your colleagues.
