Artistic Team Building

On July 15th, company LafargeHolcim trusted Kaizen Coaching and Team Building to run a corporate team building activity, aimed at helping their employees start getting to know each other better after the two companies' merger, and with the goal of getting them to embrace the company's new slogan, A New Leader for a New World.

Our corporate activities foster collaboration, trust and creativity, and what better example than running a team building activity in which the 170 attendees, split into 17 teams, had to paint their part of a large mural, then assemble the 17 pieces and watch, amazed and proud, as all 17 fit together perfectly. Our 12 facilitators, all expert professionals from the fine arts world, guided participants at every step to ensure a great final result.

The activity was held in Madrid, at La Casa Encendida, both in the auditorium, where we ran some icebreaker and creativity dynamics, and in the main courtyard, where the large mural was created.

Once the mural was finished, participants confirmed the workday had been a complete success — they'd had fun and worked side by side with their new colleagues.

For us, the day was a complete success, confirming the value of team building activities as a tool for building cohesion and transforming work teams, letting participants experience something unique — and we can confidently say our "Painting the Future" activity has a long road ahead of it.
