Charity Team Building

On March 14th, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm, we ran a large charity Team Building activity for pharmaceutical company Pfizer, with 400 attendees taking part, split into 40 teams, resulting in 40 bicycles being donated to the charity Mensajeros de la Paz.

Everything took place at the Madrid Marriott Auditorium Hotel, specifically in the Venice and Milan rooms, spanning almost a thousand square metres, where we set up five different stations for participants to complete challenges. It was important for them to put their all into every challenge, since that determined how much currency they earned, which they'd later exchange at the "supermarket" for bicycle parts.

The five challenges were the cooperative sack race, the marshmallow challenge, the egg challenge, the blanket game, and handcuffs. Every participant enjoyed the games, combining the challenges with visits to the drink stations strategically placed around the rooms.

Charity Team Building to Foster Pride of Belonging

This is an activity Kaizen Coaching and Team Building has been running for several years now, so everything is perfectly structured and organised to guarantee success. Even so, our team, made up this time of 20 instructors, 6 coordinators and 3 support instructors, arrived almost two hours early to review every challenge and run a rehearsal, to make sure everything went as planned.

And, of course, thanks to everyone's great work, the activity was a complete success. Participant feedback was clear — they'd loved it. It was a shame Father Ángel, the public face of the charity Mensajeros de la Paz, couldn't attend to collect the bicycles, due to a scheduling conflict, as we were informed a few hours beforehand.

We'll keep working to make sure our clients' expectations are met every time they entrust us with organising corporate activities or Team Building.
