Company Activities
Having a great work team is key to any company's success. And to achieve it, it's not enough to provide the material resources needed for its activities — emotional motivation is essential. At Kaizen Team Building we know this well, we're experts in corporate events for motivation.
Motivated staff aspire to improve every day, to reach new heights and ever-higher goals. And that translates into improved performance, which means more productivity, business benefits and personal satisfaction.
On the other hand, monotony is performance's worst enemy. The same routine every day creates fatigue, boredom and stagnation. Your work team needs to be pulled out of that comfort zone, shown another way of seeing their work, their colleagues, and even themselves.
Here are some of our corporate event suggestions:
The haka is an ancient Māori tribal war dance (New Zealand) that became world-famous thanks to the country's national rugby team, a practice that's proven highly effective at fostering group cohesion and fighting for a shared goal.
Fast-paced, powerful, exciting and disciplined, the haka is strength, it's camaraderie, it's a burst of adrenaline. It teaches great values useful for energising a group.
The activity starts with the "tribal chief" bursting in as a surprise and performing the haka in front of all participants, who'll need to learn this dance as one united group. Smaller "tribes" are then organised, each of which must design its own identity: its distinctive war paint and its own dance.
All tribes will then compete in a haka contest and finally join forces to dance the Great Final Haka.
Its benefits are many: it develops new group synergies, improves communication and group spirit, strengthens morale and builds trust between colleagues.
This is one of the most fun and stimulating corporate events. It's a hands-on workshop that invites participants to immerse themselves in a world of flavours, colours and sensations.
After a brief theoretical explanation, participants are split into small groups to learn how to make cocktails like a true professional. An instructor will teach them everything they need: from the tools and materials they'll use and their different purposes, to the recipes and techniques for making the world's best cocktails — from the classic mojito to the sumptuous White Russian, the Daiquiri…
Finally, the activity ends with a tasting session where everyone tries each group's cocktails.
This event is perfect as a work incentive, boosting team morale, sparking creativity, communication skills and teamwork.
Split into different teams, participants each have a dance instructor who helps them prepare a choreography for a song assigned to them at random. They'll choose props for staging it, then perform it in front of their colleagues. A panel of judges, usually made up of company managers, scores each performance.
This activity is ideal for fostering creativity, lifts spirits and notably improves group cohesion and communication through teamwork. It also helps people loosen up, overcome shyness, and improves problem-solving.
Food is also a big part of our corporate events. In this respect, we have two star activities:
Other activities that boost team spirit and motivation:
All our corporate events can be paired with karaoke, entertainers and a photo booth to liven up the day even more. Even so, if you can't find what you're looking for, get in touch with us and we'll design corporate activities tailored to your specific needs.
